The Golden Rule states: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."  Elaborations about this principle can be found in all world religions and many philosophical teachings.  URI Europe - in co-operation with the Bond zonder Naam CC - has created a Golden Rule poster in English and Flemish language.  This poster will be translated into more languages and will be made available to schools and other institutions.  We also plan to create a brochure with suggestions how interfaith projects, schools and others can engage the Golden Rule in their activities.  |

Living Values Education Project |

Living Values Education (LVE) is a tool for transformation. URI Europe plans to offer Living Values Education training around Europe.  LVE is successfully used by Bond zonder Naam vzw, a URI Europe Co-operation Circle and supporter in Antwerp: Bond zonder Naam works with schools in Flanders to provide school boards, teachers, educators and parents with the necessary means to achieve the following objective: "How can we evolve towards a values-based school?"  As a first step a values survey is conducted, followed by structured conversations around core values, leading to an action plan based on these values and best practices.  URI Europe plans to make the method available to interfaith projects around Europe.  In order to read more about this click here.  |
